Superfans Justin Bieber brought thousands of cans of soup for the Food Bank of Saskatoon.
The goal was to bring as many cans and packets of soup and you could hear the teen pop sensation Justin Bieber in his show at Credit Union Centre on Friday night. At the moment the contest is over the food bank took a charge of over 21,000 cans of soup.
"Imagine a half-ton truck, the load is all full. Probably we would need about 10 of these, "exclaimed Dave, presenter of the C95.
"Twenty-one thousand cans of soup, you're just amazed at how much a part of the C95 is a community, and how our listeners are all the same group and on the same team," he continued. "It was fun."
Kelsey and Kayla Salzsauler Findlay are two girls who received most soup - 2507 cans and packages - enough to win front row tickets to the concert of Bieber in CUC.
"They drained her and left rear door to door asking for soup and / or money," said Scharf. "And with the money they could, they bought the soup."
Cindy Madland is the runner with more than 2,200 cans and packages collected. She received tickets to the second row.
Another 20 tickets were distributed among the other competitors.
Scharf's surprised that so many fans Bieber came through the contest to make a huge success.
Justin commented on his Twitter about the contest: "greatest fans in the world! Make a Difference in helping others lives! so proud! "
